Amina Shaukat

Amina Shoukat is Lahore based visual artist. Recently she done her MFA (visual arts) from college of art and Design (UCAD) 2022. And complete her Bachelors from University of Education (UOE) in 2017. She had participated in multiple art exhibitions. She had participated in international group show at Baku Azerbaijan 2022. Her several works displayed at Alhamra young artist exhibition. Also, her work publishes in online magazine.
Statement
“Limitations”
Creativity has no limitations. it is an activity full of treasures of unlimited potential, which after doing it brings peace of mind and satisfaction. The creative process is one of the most complex and beautiful parts of being human. It’s messy, frustrating, enjoyable, and different for everyone. Working in Boro-silicate glass. Its quality like, Clarity, mailability, fragility. Using these characteristics, I have explored the material in whatever my capacity could. And it seems like the forms appeared and sustained rights before the moment of fracture. And there are very thin lines of operating on this medium. At the same time with high temperature and normal temperature I am dealing my work with cracks, shocks and softness of the material. Indirectly this talk about various things related to my inner word and my external bird around me. I don’t struggle to make a comment. But somehow the forms which simultaneously and co-literally appeared during this process sufficiently, directly towards some greater truths of life.
