Asma has done her masters in painting in 1998 from the University of the Punjab, Lahore. She is a professional landscape painter who mostly loves to pain in the Acrylic median. She has painted in postal, oil painting and water colors as well. She has a fondness for painting nature which is why she mostly paints landscapes from all over Pakistan, namely the famed northern areas. While she is strongly attached to the idea of painting on the spot, she has been unable to make that idea come true due to unavoidable circumstances. Instead, she has taken pictures which she then developed into paintings with such talent that one is hardly able to tell, by looking at the works, whether we were done in a studio or on the spot. Routinely, her color palette generally tends to be bright colors. The attractiveness of her paintings is usually such that one is unable to avoid seeing her works.
